Why did you join the Junior League?
Once I left public accounting, I was no longer traveling every week for work and had more free time available. I made a conscious decision that I wanted to use my free time to give back to the community. As we all know JLO is an amazing organization, committed to promoting voluntarism. It was a perfect fit.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
Meeting my husband, Casey. Life. Changing. Moment. There are no words I could write to adequately explain how remarkable he is. Without him, I would not be able to put in the hours I do at the office and volunteer the amount I do, while having two small children at home. He is truly my life partner.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I’m taking freestyle swimming lessons for the first time. I joke that I taught myself how to swim, and did a poor job. Ironically, I was a certified life guard in college.

My determination.
